Eurobound Adds Independent Itineraries with Chauffeur or Self-Drive Options
Eurobound—specialists in upscale travel to Europe and the UK–has introduced a series of flexible, customized driving itineraries to the Scottish and Irish countryside. The packages include private airport transfers and accommodations with breakfast, plus transportation by self-drive rental car, chauffeur or driver-guide.
Scotland’s Dramatic “NC500” Route by Chauffeur or Self-Drive
Northern Scotland’s circular “NC500” route is the focus of Eurobound’s new driving itineraries along this scenic, 500-mile road, complete with hairpin turns, dramatic seaside vistas, highlands, villages and castles. Eurobound travelers can navigate all or part of this coastal route as passengers in their own chauffeur-driven car, or by self-drive rental car, complete with superior and luxury accommodations and private airport transfer from Inverness.
A sample 10-day itinerary begins and ends in Inverness, the largest city on Scotland’s northeast coast, with its renown castle. Eurobound guests overnight in small villages and hamlets such as Tain and Wick in the Scottish Highlands, John O’Groats and Poolewe overlooking the sea, Durness with its coastal cave, the fishing port of Lochinver, and Torridon, enveloped by hills and mountains. En route travelers can walk the trails of Scotland’s North Highland Way, take in scenic views of beaches and mountains, visit distilleries, and explore small fishing villages and castles.
Travelers can choose the length of their stay, as well as customize the entire trip. Prices vary depending on number of days and options selected.
