Eurobound Introduces Personalized VIP Normandie

Travelers Choose from Private Experiences

Eurobound–specialists in custom European itineraries sold exclusively through travel agents–has designed a one-week “Magnificent Normandy and Beyond” package for travelers who want an in-depth immersion into the culture and history of France’s Normandie province.  The package features one night hotel in Paris, four nights’ stay in the 18th-century Chateau La Cheneviere in Port-en-Bassin, and one night in Chantilly. Private transfers between Paris, Port-en-Bassin, and Chantilly; plus breakfast, VAT, and private or small-group tours are also included.

Travelers Select Their Own Options

The package is designed to provide travelers with a selection of daily experiences best suited to their interests. Following the first night in Paris, options for Day 2 include either a visit to Giverny, Monet’s home with its famous gardens; the picturesque port of Honfleur; or a cider and calvados tasting.

D-Day Beaches with Private Historian Guide

One day is devoted to the beaches of Normandie, with travelers choosing how they want to experience the area.  Travelers can select from a full-day small share tour of the Landing Beaches, or visiting the area with a private licensed driver guide.  Those looking for an in-depth exploration can opt for a privately chauffeured experience with an expert historian providing insight.

Cooking with a Michelin Chef

Following a half-day Normandie tour, a cooking class with a Michelin Star Chef gives travelers a taste of how to prepare the region’s famous dishes.  Other options include a private visit of Bayeux and lunch in a private 17th century manor, or an evening wine tasting and dinner in the same manor.

Mt. Saint Michel with Driver or by Foot

This day is devoted to Mont Saint Michel, with no-wait entry tickets and a range of options.  History buffs can follow the pilgrim’s footsteps to Mont Saint Michel with their own private historian guide and chauffeured car.  Another option provides a private driver for exploring villages along the way and visiting the Mont with an on-site licensed guide.  More adventurous travelers are met by an English-speaking licensed crosser who guides their party along the two-hour crossing by foot to the Mont.

Secrets of Normandy

The final day of private experiences starts with a transfer from Port-en-Bessin to Chantilly with a lunch stop.  Travelers can choose a “Secrets of Normandy” tour with a driver guide, including a private cider tasting, a visit to a private countryside chapel, and to villages, markets and antique shops.  A second option is “The Flowery Coast,” visiting Deauville, Trouville, Honfleur and Pays d’Auge.

Price

Prices for the 7-day “Magnificent Normandy and Beyond” start at $4,250 per person, double occupancy, land only.  Prices may be higher, depending on options selected.
