Wine Regions of France Featured on New Eurobound Package 

Independent Package Visits Bordeaux, Lyon, Burgundy

Oenophiles can immerse themselves in the heart of some of France’s legendary wine regions on a new 10-day/ 9-night “Bordeaux and Burgundy”  independent package from Eurobound. 

Travelers spend 3 nights each in Bordeaux and Beaune, with 2 nights in Lyon, and a final overnight in Paris.   The package includes all touring, hotel accommodations with breakfast, private airport transfers, flight from Bordeaux to Lyon, and 1st class rail between cities. 

Private, full-day tours with a wine expert guide explore the vineyards of Cote de Beaune, Cote de Nuits, and Beaujolais, north of Lyon.   All excursions visit carefully-selected Classified Growth chateaux and estates, capped off with wine tastings. 

Vineyards, Wine Tastings, and a Gastronomy Tour

In Bordeaux, Eurobound travelers visit La Cité du Vin, the renowned Wine and Culture Museum. Two small-group tours include a full-day exploration of St. Emilion vineyards with a walking tour of the village, and a half-day in Medoc. 

A half-day gastronomic tour in Lyon is followed by a full day visiting the vineyards of Beaujolais. From Beaune, private excursions travel the Grands Crus road via Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet to the Côte de Beaune. En route, Eurobound travelers stop at historic vineyards and wine cellars, such as Romanée Conti, known for some of the most expensive and prestigious wines in the world, as well as the Chateau du Clos de Vougeot, run since the Middle Ages by Cistercian monks.
